A short note to those opposed to Common Core.  The Idaho House and Senate Education Committees rejected the next generation science standards.  These standards will be reviewed again this next year with more input from the public.

It is my hope that students are always taught to question and use observation and experimentation to try to understand the physical world.  No science is ever settled.  Scientific computer models are limited by the assumptions built into the computer models which may turn out to be accurate or inaccurate.  Only constant questioning and experimentation brings us closer to an understanding of how the world works.
